Fat Cat hosts a foosball tournament in the Village
To spin or not to spin, that is the question plaguing foosball enthusiasts.
Well make your preference heard loud and proud at Fat Cat, where a weekly foos tournament separates the men from … the other men who are slightly less good at twirling little dudes.
Every week, about 5-10 teams of varying skill levels show at this West Village basement billiard hall. If your team ends up taking a top spot, see your place get posted at nycfoosball.
As if Internet acclaim (huzzah!) isn’t enough, the first-place team wins a small cash prize.
And for those who need more training before stepping up to the big leagues, Fat Cat hosts pickup games on Fridays.
Don’t like foosball? Check your pulse, then realize that Fat Cat hosts pool, ping-pong and shuffleboard.
